♥Foreshadowing.

-Evil Spell

The reason why the title is called "The Evil Spell" is because of the rainy weather. The rain had drooped both Leslie's and Jess's moods as the rain had prevented them from entering Terabithia. The phrase at the last paragraph of the chapter,"With the horrible realization that it was still raining"shows that the weather had not improved over time.

-Perfect Day

The title "The Perfect Day" is mainly targeted at Jess who got an invitation from Miss Edmunds to the National Gallery. However, near to the end of the chapter, disaster strikes as Jess' family informs him of Leslie's death when he returns, hence we can predict the events that will take place in the following chapter.
